Concept of Operation Development Support
SRC has exceptional expertise and experience in the research and
development of Concept Of Operations Documents and Plans for the US
Navy's Maritime Aircraft, Unmanned Aircraft Systems/Vehicles, and
Undersea Surveillance Systems. Research work has been provided for
SPAWARSYSCOM-San Diego, Lockheed-Martin Eagan/Manassas and the
Office of Naval Research. Our knowledge and expertise in ASW,ISR,OTH
and USW disciplines is unique and well documented in the US Navy
SRC's experience in web management systems for the U.S. Navy crosses
many different warfighting areas.
Currently, SRC maintains systems that manage the Navy's Sea Trial
experimentation process, the Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
development process, and the Navy Lessons Learned management portal.
The Sea Trial management system tracks the approval process and
execution of unique experiments that are of fleet concern. These Sea
Power 21 experiments are managed by 3rd Fleet, 2nd Fleet, and
NETWARCOM to allow rapid turnaround of technology to reach
warfighting units worldwide. Unique tools within the management
system allow the Navy to dynamically create the Execution Plan (EXPLAN),
show relationships between other experiments and events, track
statuses of experiments and Science and Technology projects, and
dynamically notify stakeholders of changes.
SRC also developed an information and document management system
for the development of fleet Concept of Operations. The web site is
a repository for all Navy CONOPS, but also tracks the progress of
CONOPS tasked by Commander, United States Forces Command (CUSFF).
These management systems have been developed in the latest web
technology, utilizing the .NET framework. These efforts have
utilized both SQL Server and ORACLE databases. |
